Misun Won presents a new jewellery collection featuring hand-pierced designs inspired by patterns found in nature. Originally from Korea, her work is associated with the delicacy of highly refined handcraft from the East and often includes the Korean technique Keum-boo; the highly skilled application of 24ct gold foil. A major inspiration is Korean patchwork and this traditional form is interpreted through Western fractal geometry, creating dynamic structures for her collection.
