The F.C.F. Valentine Post-War Print Collection features an impressive line up of iconic artists from both the UK and abroad, reflecting the radical shift that occurred in the arts after the Second World War. Many of these artists represent a new era of art by individuals eager to express themselves and challenge traditional perceptions of art. The Valentine Collection was assembled by a single collector in Edinburgh. The Gallery would like to thank F.C.F. Valentine, who has demonstrated that collecting is a passion that continues to evolve, even in his 90th year. F.C.F. Valentine will be donating proceeds from any sales from his collection to the City Art Centre in Edinburgh to support future acquisitions.
