Adrian Hope is one of the UK’s leading silversmiths and studied at Sheffield and Edinburgh College of Art. He is also a Freeman of the Worshipful Company at Goldsmiths, London. Since establishing his workshop in Scotland in 1980, Hope has developed and refined his techniques for handraising simple vessel forms. He enriches surfaces through the subtle use of hammering and embossing, creating pieces which are a delight to handle and use.
