Lachlan Goudie was born in Glasgow and trained at Camberwell College of Arts. The scope of Lachlan’s work is broad, incorporating portraiture, still life and landscape painting. His canvasses have won numerous awards and in 2013 he was elected a member of the Royal Institute of Oil painters, in London. As well as a painter, Lachlan is a broadcaster and author. His latest book The Story of Scottish Art is set to be published in the autumn of 2020.

Lachlan Goudie will be the subject of a solo exhibition at The Scottish Gallery in November 2020.
