Coffee Morning & Handling Session with Yusuke Yamamoto

Join Yusuke Yamamoto for a handling session and learn about his world-class chasing process. Yamamoto’s distinctive surfaces draw directly from his everyday surroundings where he currently lives in rural Wales – from sheep-marked hedgerows and woodland glades to the shimmer of light through leaves.
The Dappled Garden is a celebration of his dialogue between nature and material. Each piece begins with a sketch, and evolves slowly through thousands of hammer marks into complex, layered forms.
