Mark Making Landscape Workshop with Laura Drever
Wednesday 4 March | 10.30am – 3.00pm | The Scottish Gallery
£120 per person (all materials + lunch included)
Join artist Laura Drever for a playful and inspiring creative workshop exploring the landscapes of Orkney through abstraction. Guided drawing exercises will encourage you to experiment with shape, line, colour, and pattern, key elements of Laura’s own practice. The workshop will be enhanced with exclusive access to Laura’s solo exhibition and a personal guided tour by the artist.
Participants will create a vibrant series of landscape-inspired artworks using imaginative activities such as landscape weaving, jigsaws, and hill stencils – a relaxed and rewarding creative reboot in the gallery setting.
No drawing experience is needed – all abilities are welcome!
All materials will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a pinny or overall.
