Victoria Crowe will also be hosting a Gaelic book launch. In 2019, Catching the Light by Victoria Crowe was published. The limited-edition book combined paintings by Victoria Crowe and poems inspired by her paintings – the edition of 500 sold out immediately. The Scottish Gallery is proud to launch a new Gaelic limited edition to coincide with Victoria Crowe’s exhibition Low Winter Sun.
The new Gaelic edition celebrates the 50th anniversary of Sabhal Mòr Ostaig which is the only centre of Higher and Further Education in the world that provides its learning programmes entirely through the medium of Gaelic in an immersed, language-rich environment based in Sleat, the Isle of Skye.
