Meet Vicky Lindo & Bill Brookes | Live Online from The Scottish Gallery
Wednesday 14th October | 6–6.20pm

Meet Vicky Lindo and Bill Brookes live online as they join us to talk about their new exhibition, I’m Feeling Hopeful.
Vicky and Bill have worked together since 2013 from their studio in Bideford, North Devon. The Scottish Gallery is delighted to welcome their first solo exhibition, which has been six years in the planning! Bill creates the earthenware forms and Vicky uses sgraffito to cover their surfaces with drawings, words and stories. Anything can provide the spark: something heard on the radio, an image found online, a childhood memory, an animal, a conversation on the beach or an object at home. Vicky describes the resulting mix rather brilliantly as ‘my brain on a pot’. In just twenty minutes our online conversation will centre around how they work together and the stories behind some of their new ceramics and paintings.
