Saturday is your opportunity to meet our October artists.
Join Angie Lewin and Vicky Lindo and Bill Brookes in the Gallery from 11am. Enjoy coffee, Meet the Artists and explore Cultivated Colour and I’m Feeling Hopeful with the people who made the work. We have been waiting six years to welcome Vicky and Bill to The Gallery and they are coming all the way from North Devon to be with us and their exhibition. Together, they create extraordinary sgraffito ceramics and paintings filled with animals, people, words, memories and observations from everyday life.
Angie Lewin will be here throughout the morning, giving visitors another chance to meet her and enjoy the remarkable new watercolours in Cultivated Colour.
Come for coffee, stay for the art and meet Angie, Vicky and Bill.
Please note that The Gallery is on two floors, which is accessed by sets of stairs. Our Garden is open during fair weather only.
The Scottish Gallery House Rules for Events
The Scottish Gallery is delighted to welcome visitors to our exhibitions, events and private views. We offer a warm and inclusive environment where artists, collectors, friends, and first-time visitors can enjoy art, conversation, and hospitality.
To ensure everyone has a positive experience, we kindly ask all guests to:
- Treat our artists, visitors, team and neighbours with courtesy and respect
- Enjoy refreshments provided during the event in the spirit in which they are offered
- Drink responsibly and behave in a manner appropriate to a public cultural event
- Respect the artworks, displays and Gallery spaces at all times
- Follow any reasonable requests made by members of the Gallery team
The Scottish Gallery is an independent, privately owned gallery. While our exhibitions are free to visit during normal opening hours (Tuesday – Friday 10.30 – 6pm and 11-2pm on Saturdays), our events are hosted by invitation or registration and are intended to provide an enjoyable experience of The Gallery for all guests. We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask any individual to leave an event where their behaviour is inconsistent with the welcoming atmosphere and values of The Scottish Gallery.
