Everyone Welcome

We are especially pleased to welcome Cleo Mussi, who is travelling from Stroud to be with us for the opening of Natural Systems. This is a rare opportunity to meet Cleo in person, and she is looking forward to meeting visitors and sharing the stories behind her remarkable work.

Cleo transforms discarded, broken and forgotten ceramics into extraordinary mosaics, giving old objects an entirely new life. Her new exhibition, Natural Systems, is inspired by more than a decade of research into plants, horticulture, biodiversity and the fascinating connections between people and the natural world. Her work is full of humour, imagination and unexpected discoveries, with every fragment of china bringing its own history to the finished piece.

Come and meet Cleo, discover how she works and explore an exhibition that is as thought-provoking as it is joyful. There is always something new to discover in her intricate compositions, and who better to explain them than the artist herself?

Join us for coffee from 11am, followed by a toast to the artists at noon. We will have live music from Roland Fraser and perhaps a few subtle Halloween surprises! Everyone welcome.

Gallery open until 2pm.

Please note that The Gallery is on two floors, which is accessed by sets of stairs. Our Garden is open during fair weather only.
