Come and celebrate Malcolm Appleby at 80 who will be joining us from his home and studio in rural Perthshire for a wonderfully informal opening surrounded by his latest work.

Explore Time Lines, meet Malcolm, handle and discover his extraordinary practice in metalwork, and ask him about a lifetime of engraving, making, experimenting and looking at the natural world. At 80, his curiosity and appetite for making remain gloriously undiminished.

There will be live music from Roland Fraser, coffee from 11am–12 noon, and at 12 noon we’ll raise a glass to Malcolm and an extraordinary life in craftsmanship.

No speeches required. Come and Meet the Artist, enjoy the music and coffee and meet the Gallery team, and help us make a little noise for one of Scotland’s great makers.

Please note that The Gallery is on two floors, which is accessed by sets of stairs. Our Garden is open during fair weather only.
