Dame Elizabeth Blackadder celebrates her 89th birthday this month and she has been exhibiting continuously with The Scottish Gallery since her first show here in 1961. Our forthcoming exhibition features her floral, garden and botanical work in watercolour and print. This much loved subject has been a constant, enriched by travel to Japan and Malaysia but chiefly inspired by her garden in Edinburgh, planted to provide flowers for the studio for most of the year.
