The Scottish Gallery and Dovecot Studios celebrate the artist Jock McFadyen’s 70th birthday year with Lost Boat Party as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival 2021. Jock McFadyen finds his subject in the marginal and overlooked. He finds a derelict corner, or a twilight landscape seen through a chain link fence; graffiti is enigmatic under an endless, perfect sky.
The exhibition is now open to the public at Dovecot Studios on the Tapestry Viewing Balcony in conjunction with our virtual Viewing Room. Explore the exhibition at Dovecot Studios until 25th September | Mon-Fri 12:00-15:00 Sat 10:00-17:00 | Free Admission.
Lost Boat Party can also be viewed courtesy of our Viewing Rooms below, which includes The Blue Room as a New Town extension; this is available online and by appointment only.
