This March, The Gallery celebrates the outstanding artistic achievements of Dorothy Hogg, MBE. Dorothy Hogg is recognised internationally as both an artist jeweller and outstanding and influential art educator, as former head of Edinburgh College of Art’s Jewellery and Silversmithing Department for over 20 years. Her work is held in numerous public and private collections.
She has always demonstrated an intense involvement in the processes of furthering new thinking in the jewellery field backed by her own evolving conceptual position and characteristically fastidious technique. – Professor Elizabeth Moignard
