This May, The Scottish Gallery presents A Shared Language, showcasing new work from two respected designer makers: silversmith Ane Christensen and jeweller Daphne Krinos. Following a collaboration that began in 2019, this exhibition offers an insight into their respective crafts and the way new ideas form and develop through creative dialogue. Though working in different disciplines and on different scales, Ane and Daphne share a common language in their work, both inspired by balance and the positive and negative shapes found in architecture.
Enjoy insights into both Ane and Daphne’s studio practices below.
