About Julian Stair
Julian Stair (b.1955, Bristol) is one of the UK’s leading potters with an international reputation and his work is held in over thirty collections worldwide. Born in Bristol to a family of artists and writers, Stair took up pottery at the age of sixteen and went on to study at Camberwell School of Art and the Royal College of Art, London, graduating in 1981.
