Reflections | Michael Lloyd at 70 | Part Five16 Jun 2020
This June we celebrate Michael Lloyd’s 70th birthday with a collection of new work; each a love letter to the flora and fauna that continues to inspire his work. Explore Reflections | Michael Lloyd at 70 and discover his new collection online. We have also produced a series of blogs with imagery, film, music and words from Michael Lloyd himself.
Please enjoy our next installment in which Michael discusses his inspiration and introduces us to two of the seven pieces created for this exhibition - the The Rose Garden and Thorn Weave Dish.

In the short film below Michael Lloyd introduces us to the The Rose Garden as we join him in his garden in Dumfries & Galloway.

Thorn Weave Dish
In the short film below Michael Lloyd introduces us to the Thorn Weave Dish and explains part of his making process as we join him in his studio.
