<p>Thomas Scott was born in 1854 in Selkirk, in the Scottish Borders, where he stayed throughout most of his life, and he is best known for his watercolours of the area: its mountainous landscapes, unique architecture and cultural history. Over the course of 50 years Thomas Scott exhibited over 160 works at the Royal Scottish Academy.</p>
