<p>Based in her Edinburgh studio, Linda Green is an established textile artist who has exhibited both nationally and internationally. Her work is unique and diverse, exploring and developing creative ideas through a range of textile materials and influences. Her interest in order and random processes are explored within her art practice. By taking inspiration from things as diverse as plant life, geometry and the Cosmos, she has covered a wealth of creative territory in her working life.</p> <p>After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art with a Diploma in Tapestry, Linda completed her student career with a Post Graduate MA in Textiles at the Royal College of Art in London. Since then she has taught at a number of art schools in Scotland including Glasgow School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art.A recent recipient of awards from Theo Moorman Trust for Weavers and Creative Scotland have taken her work on a new creative journey. Linda has also worked with Richard Murphy Architects as colour consultant collaborating on several projects where her innovative fusion of colour and surface contribute to the ambient space.</p>
