Ann Patrick was born in Dundee, Angus, the daughter of the celebrated painter James McIntosh Patrick. Patrick studied at Duncan of Jordanstone, Dundee under Alberto Morrocco and David McClure. Her Paintings reflect her immediate surroundings giving formal permanence to ephemera such as fruit, flowers, detailed aspects of sea and landscapes. She often visits and paints Italy and, in particular, Tuscany. Her works are in the permanent collection of Dundee, Aberdeen and Angus Art Galleries and in the collection of H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh.
