Horatio’s Garden – Pop Up Shop – 10am – 4pm
We are proud to support the charity Horatio’s Garden – Horatio’s Garden is a national charity creating and nurturing beautiful gardens in NHS spinal injury centres to support everyone affected by spinal injury. These incredible gardens support patients, their families and friends facing long stays in NHS hospitals. They will be bringing a whole host of items to purchase from socks to handkerchiefs, perfect for Christmas!! Charity Number SC045386

Special Winter Talk – 3 – 3.30pm
A discussion on the making and magic behind the iconic image, Large Tree Group, Winter by Victoria Crowe

Victoria Crowe painting Large Tree Group in 1975. It is an iconic work from A Shepherd’s Life series. The etching and screenprint made in 2014 pays homage to the impact and continuing memory of the shepherd Jenny Armstrong. Dovecot Studios commissioned a large-scale tapestry of Large Tree Group which was unveiled in 2013 in the exhibition Fleece to Fibre during the Edinburgh International Festival. The tapestry was subsequently acquired for the permanent collection of National Museums Scotland.

Artist and printmaker Robert Adam will discuss the making of Large Tree Group, Winter by Victoria Crowe, including the viewing of a silent film. Victoria Crowe will be in attendance.
