Delivery charges
If you are looking to purchase from The Gallery, please contact us for an estimated quote. A member of our team will happily assist you with your purchase.
Please note: Certain artworks may exceed the maximum dimensions for shipping via Royal Mail or Parcelforce, or require special handling with a fine art courier. In such instances, we reserve the right to cancel the order and to discuss alternative shipping options/costs via courier.
Final delivery charges will be calculated upon check-out. If you have any queries, please contact The Gallery.

Gift Cards & Digital Gift Cards
By purchasing a Scottish Gallery Gift Card or Digital Gift Card you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Scottish Gallery Gift Cards may be used in The Scottish Gallery and online at scottish-gallery.co.uk to exchange for goods or services. Gift Cards are not exchangeable for cash or replaced if lost or stolen.
The Scottish Gallery Gift Cards are valid for 2 years from date of issue. If your purchase online is not completely covered by the Scottish Gallery Gift Card, you can use an additional payment method to complete the purchase.
The Scottish Gallery reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The most recent terms and conditions will always be posted on this page.
When you can expect your order
All orders made online or over the phone may take 3-5 working days to arrive within the UK and longer for overseas. If you have purchased an artwork that features in an exhibition, then we may only be able to arrange delivery after the exhibition has finished. In this instance a member of the team would advise you further.
Cancellations
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. Goods must be returned in the same conditions as sold. Any commissioned or customised items are non refundable.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post, email, or through this website):

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (eg by email) without delay.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, excluding the costs of delivery. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
- if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Product returns
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, The Scottish Gallery, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
