The Scottish Gallery supports MND charities. Motor Neuron Disease affects Davy Zyw, who is the identical twin brother of Gallery Director Tommy Zyw. As keen cyclists, the Ride for MND team are embarking on their biggest challenge yet. They are undertaking one of the hardest cycle rides in the United Kingdom, tackling 5 of Scotland’s highest roads in one continuous ride over the course of 260 miles on 11 August 2022 (weather permitting!). Every pedal pushed, every penny raised will help Davy and others fight their battles and rid the world of this condition.
To raise money, Ride for MND is selling limited edition t-shirts featuring original artwork by Gallery artist Kate Downie. We also have original works for sale with all proceeds being donated to the charity.
