Emily Sutton

Born: 1983
Place of Birth: North Yorkshire

Born and raised in the depths of North Yorkshire, Emily graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2008.

With a lifelong love of drawing and painting, Emily uses a combination of these approaches in her current work. Emily is inspired by the relics of a bygone era and afternoons immersed in the contents of the Museum of Childhood in Edinburgh. She recently illustrated a children’s book for the V&A Museum, London.

Awards:
Elle Decoration British Design Award 2011 for ‘Curiosity Shop’ fabric for St Jude’s.
