Anna Pugh is one of Britain’s leading folk artists. Her work has an international following, and her obvious empathy with the countryside, with animals and with plants in particular, gives her work a spellbinding charm. Inspired by Rousseau and Chagall, her work shows the natural world enlivened by touches of the surreal.
