This May, we continue our exploration of the beauty of the still life genre with an exhibition dedicated to objects that blend the functional with the sculptural. Objects often take on extraordinary significance through everyday use or by reflecting the world around us, shaping and defining our lives. We have brought together both familiar and new artists to the gallery in celebration of our commitment to outstanding craftsmanship.

Douglas Fitch and Hannah McAndrew are internationally renowned potters who live and work in Dumfries and Galloway, and Cohesion marks their first solo exhibition with The Scottish Gallery.
