Hannah McAndrew | Slip Decoration
Watch as Hannah McAndrew creates a hand drawn slip decoration. Douglas Fitch and Hannah McAndrew are internationally renowned potters who live and work in Dumfries and Galloway, and Cohesion marks their first solo exhibition with The Scottish Gallery. Both potters draw inspiration from pots of the past, taking influences from the ancient British folk heritage of medieval and country pottery, and seventeenth century Staffordshire slipware. Cohesion brings both artist’s work to the fore.
