Edward Wright

Edward Wright was an English painter, typographer and graphic designer whose career bridged the worlds of fine art, architecture and visual communication. Born in Liverpool, he initially trained as an architect before turning to painting, printmaking and graphic design. Following the Second World War he settled in London, where he worked in publishing, advertising and education while developing a practice that rejected distinctions between art and design.
