Frances Walker

Frances Walker is recognised not only as one of Scotland’s most important painters of landscape, but also as an outstanding printmaker whose graphic work has formed a vital part of her practice for more than six decades. A founding member of Peacock Printmakers in Aberdeen in 1974, Walker has consistently explored the expressive possibilities of etching, lithography, screenprint and other print processes alongside her painting and drawing practice.
