Joanne Thompson (b.1971, Annan, Dumfries & Galloway) is one of Scotland’s most accomplished contemporary jewellers, celebrated for jewellery that combines sculptural presence with extraordinary fluidity, tactility and wearability. Since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 1993, Thompson has developed a distinctive and highly recognisable visual language rooted in repetition, movement and meticulous craftsmanship.
