Pascale Rentsch | The Living Earth
Working directly in the landscape, Pascale Rentsch embraces the weather, light and spontaneity of painting outdoors. Her expressive marks capture not just the appearance of a place, but its emotional resonance- the feeling of standing in the wind, of rain on paper, of light flickering through gorse. Her practice is a deeply personal and poetic one, rooted in observation, connection, and care. Her paintings are intimate visual diaries, recording moments of stillness, encounters with nature, and the small glimmers of hope and beauty that can be found in everyday landscapes. This exhibition brings together work made across Scotland including East Lothian, the Isle of Islay, and Luing- locations rich in memory, meaning, and wild natural beauty.
