Angie Lewin

This exhibition of over fifty new watercolours celebrates the flowers Lewin grows in her Scottish hillside garden, with the help of a trusty Shetland-designed polytunnel well suited to such an exposed location. Bright, exotic dahlias, parrot tulips, agapanthus and pelargoniums appear in still life compositions alongside her eclectic collection of ceramics and decorative papers, their patterns flowing and mingling with leaves, stems and flowers.

The Art of Collaboration sees the design studio and publisher St Jude’s make a welcome return to The Scottish Gallery, with an exhibition showcasing the paintings, collages and prints by a group of artists that founders Simon and Angie Lewin have worked with over the past 20 years.

Still Life | The Beauty of the Ordinary offers a small homage to the monumental Les Choses exhibition held in The Louvre in 2022. Still life remains a thriving and classic genre in Scottish art practice.
